Publication Ethics & Plagiarism Policy
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Innovation (ISJEM) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We adhere strictly to ethical guidelines to ensure transparency, originality, and scientific validity in all stages of the publication process.
1. Originality and Plagiarism
All submissions must be original and unpublished. Authors must ensure their work is free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Proper citations must be provided for any overlapping content. The journal uses plagiarism detection tools to screen all manuscripts.
2. Authorship and Contributions
Authorship must be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
3. Data Integrity
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data presented. Data must not be fabricated, manipulated, or falsified. Any errors discovered post-submission or post-publication must be reported immediately.
4. Peer Review
All submissions undergo a rigorous, double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive feedback and to avoid bias based on personal characteristics or affiliations.
5. Confidentiality
Editors and reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding manuscript content and data. No part of the manuscript may be disclosed or discussed with unauthorized individuals.
6. Conflict of Interest
All authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the editorial process.
7. Ethical Research Conduct
Research involving human or animal subjects must be conducted ethically and in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines. All human studies must have approval from an Institutional Review Board (IRB), and all animal research must be reviewed by an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or equivalent.
8. Retraction and Corrections
The journal reserves the right to retract or correct published articles if there is evidence of misconduct, ethical breaches, or significant errors that compromise the integrity of the work.
9. Compliance
The ISJEM Journal complies with all international laws and ethical standards related to scholarly publishing. We are dedicated to preserving the integrity of the scientific record.
